Ondine Cohane

About the Writer

Ondine Cohane, Contributing Editor, Conde Nast

After Ondine Cohane edited Condé Nast Traveler's Word of Mouth section for a couple of years, she got her dream job, as a contributing editor at the magazine. Eating great food, drinking excellent wine, discovering small hotels, exploring far-flung destinations are all part of the job, and what she loves. Ondine was previously at New York magazine, and frequently writes for The New York Times travel section as well as Lonny, Details, and others. Before Columbia College and Brearley, Ondine's family moved every couple of years, which may partially explain the wanderlust. Since 2007, she, her husband, and their son, have lived in Tuscany (when not embarking on round the world trips each winter), and opened two boutique hotels. Ondine is currently working on a memoir.
