What you will visit:

Sea Kayaking Frenchman Bay
Enjoy a tranquil and eco-friendly mode of transportation when you see the beauty and activity along Frenchman Bay from the seat of a tandem kayak on a guided paddle. A Registered Maine Guide will provide commentary on the marine environment, geology, history and lore of coastal Maine. No experience is necessary; all equipment and basic instruction are provided. Your feet and clothing may get wet.

What you will see along the way:
From the seat of your kayak, paddle the cool blue waters of Frenchman Bay, one of Maine's most dramatic areas, boasting a picturesque coastline studded with beautiful cottages and Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the eastern seaboard. Wind through the rugged Porcupine Islands, which once sheltered 17th century French warships seeking refuge from the British navy, and look for harbor porpoises, seals, and a great variety of seabirds. Maneuver on to historic Bar Harbor's working waterfront and take in the hustle and bustle from your unique perspective.

Special Notes:

Minimum age is 12 years.
