You'll pass the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and the Historic Properties, a charmingly renovated 19th-century district. Gaze upon Halifax Public Gardens, the oldest original Victorian garden in the country. Stop for views from Citadel Hill, see the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, the final resting place for 121 victims of the sinking of the Titanic, and the neighborhoods of Halifax's South End.

Known as the City of Trees, lovely Halifax boasts a modern harbor and significant international port. A driving tour is the perfect opportunity to admire the stately warehouses and beautifully restored Victorian-era buildings dating back to the 1700s, which coexist with more modern glass and steel towers.
