Lagoon Clear-Bottom Kayaking Adventure

Kayak Adventure
One of the great ways to experience the natural wonders of the island is from the seat of a clear-bottom kayak. From this unique perspective you can see the colorful marine life below the surface of the crystal clear waters such as eels, clownfish, angelfish and sea turtles, which can be found in their largest concentration on Eleuthera Island.

Photo opportunity:
Have your camera at the ready; this tropical rainbow of golden sand, turquoise water and blue sky is home to intriguing sights above and below the water.

What you will see along the way:
During your guided tour around the lagoon, you'll observe the mangroves that serve as a protected nursery for birds and learn about the lagoon's tides, which at high tide can rise up to eight feet and at low tide may cause the sandbanks to become exposed.

Special Notes:

This most active excursion is suitable only for passengers in excellent physical condition. Not recommended for guests with heart or neck/back issues or women who are pregnant. The minimum age required to participate is 6 years old. Maximum weight per person is 280 pounds. Guests will be provided with a life jacket that must be worn. Guests must be able to swim. Would recommend guests wear a swimsuit and bring a towel, hat and adequate sun protection. Wildlife sightings, while common, are not guaranteed.
