Scenic Wildlife River Cruise
Reaching 180 miles long, the Belize River meanders through the heart of Belize. Once used as a major Mayan trade route, today it's known as an ideal family friendly destination, complete with a colorful and diverse world of flora and fauna. You'll be surrounded by a wondrous world of exotic beauty so be sure to grab your camera and your binoculars. While soaking up the river's lush splendor, your guide will share Mayan history and how the riverbank's trees and plants and flowers were used in Belizean bush medicines dating back centuries.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Snap, post and let the folks back home see what they're missing: From the comfort of your seat, you may see crocodiles (a protected species in Belize), howler monkeys (known for their booming cry), a spider monkey or two swinging in the canopy above you, playful and endangered manatees that can weigh up to 3,500 pounds, dolphins swimming alongside the boat, and water birds such as great blue herons, egrets, and pink-hued spoonbills.

REFRESHMENTS
On the return journey, your attentive crew will serve a thirst-quenching rum punch or non-alcoholic fruit punch while you listen to rhythmic Caribbean vibes.
