Hell
No one knows how the town got its name, but it could be from the various limestone formations rising out of the ground. Short spikes of eerie-looking black rocks look like lava in the aftermath of a volcano. Be sure to stop by the fire-engine red, hell-themed post office so you can send everyone back home a "postcard from Hell."

Stingray City Sandbar
Perched on the northwest corner of Grand Cayman's North Sound, Stingray City is home to a whole fleet of southern stingrays that congregate near the shore. As you enter the clear waters of their natural habitat, the graceful southern stingrays will glide tranquilly around you.


SHOPPING
For those wanting to take home a taste of the tropics, be sure to visit the Tortuga Rum Cake Center gift shop. Here, you'll find many varieties of freshly baked rum cakes, including chocolate, coconut, banana and coffee.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
From the pier, you'll take a scenic drive straight to Hell, a community just outside West Bay, on the northwest tip of Seven Mile Beach. Along the way, your guide will point out various points of interest, including the hotel zone, and the Old Homestead, now called the Pink House Museum, probably the most photographed house in Grand Cayman.

Special Notes:

The minimum age required to participate is 5 years old. Tour sequence may vary. Stingray Sandbar lies a few miles offshore. Water depth at the entry point from the boat is 6 to 10 feet. Depth on the sandbar averages from 3 to 4 feet. For the safety of the stingrays, fins are not used at the stingray sandbar. A liability waiver handed out by the operator is required prior to participating on this tour. The photo service at some venues is not affiliated with or provided by the cruise line or tour operator. Any photos purchased from this service will be the passengers' responsibility.
