Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens
Once the home of railroad and real estate baron Henry E. Huntington, the century-old estate boasts 42,000 works of art, 11 million library objects, and 430,000 rare books. Equally impressive are the 120 acres of breathtaking gardens that include Chinese, Japanese, Australian, California, Desert and even a Shakespeare Garden inspired by plants cultivated during the time of The Bard, and some mentioned in his writing. Enjoy time to explore on your own and take in the breathtaking site at your leisure.

Griffith Observatory
Situated atop Mount Hollywood in the 4,000-acre Griffith Park, the Griffith Observatory is recognized as a national leader in public astronomy, boasting an extensive array of space and science-related displays. The iconic Art Deco architecture is often recognizable from TV and films such as "Rebel Without a Cause," "Transformers" and numerous other sci-fi flicks.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
From its perch atop Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park, the Griffith Observatory is famed for its spectacular views of the Hollywood Sign and camera-worthy shots that stretch from the Pacific Ocean to Downtown L.A.

Special Notes:

Please note: This tour will not run on Tuesdays because the Huntington Library will be closed. On Mondays, the tour will visit Griffith Observatory for views, but will not enter the exhibits since the building is closed.
