There is much to see in the delightful city of San Diego, and seeing it from two perspectives is twice as nice. Learn the city's rich history and military heritage as you
drive past the Maritime Museum, where the Star of India - the oldest active sailing vessel in the world - is docked. Watch for the U.S.S. Midway, Lindbergh Field, Little Italy and many other San Diego attractions before reaching the shores of San Diego Bay. Splash into the water to the delight of the playful sea lions, California brown pelicans, and other wildlife species that call the bay home. Travel by waterway past Point Loma, studded with glamorous mansions; the submarine base; North Island Naval Air Station, where fighter jets are restored; the Scripps Institution of Oceanography; the Marine Mammal Training Center; and Shelter Island.
