San Francisco Sightseeing & Dim Sum Lunch
Description
Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
WHAT YOU VISIT
Grace Church
Originally founded in 1849 during the Gold Rush, the church you see today was erected between 1928 and 1964. Overlooking Nob Hill, the neo-Gothic structure appears to be made of stone but is constructed of reinforced concrete that has been beaten to achieve a stone-like effect. Inside, you'll find beautiful stained glass windows; notable works of medieval-style art; murals of Sir Francis Drake, Saint Francis de Assisi and various periods of San Francisco history; and replicas of Ghiberti's bronze Doors of Paradise, which depict scenes from the Old Testament.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
A number of photo stops will be made during the tour so have your camera at the ready.
LUNCH
Feast on an authentic dim sum lunch served family style at a Chinatown restaurant.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Your sightseeing tour includes a scenic drive along the Embarcadero, the eastern waterfront and roadway of the Port of San Francisco; North Beach; Fisherman's Wharf; Ghirardelli Square and The Bridge Pavilion, where you'll enjoy stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
