Sonoma
One of California's most charming wine regions, historic Sonoma rose to vinicultural prominence fueled in part by the development of the Carneros District in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Between towering redwoods and the stunning Pacific Coastline, there are more than 425 wineries around the town of Sonoma, noted for their fine Chardonnays, Cabernets, Merlot and Riesling.

Roche Winery
This is a tasting experience with an intimate walking tour of the Roche family's vineyards. Your host will educate and offer insights to guests during stops within the 20-acre Tipperary Vineyard surrounding the winery estate (weather permitting). Guests will enjoy the indoor and outdoor "Tasting Plaza" with outdoor fireplaces, farm tables and private group tasting areas. Enjoy all of this while sipping a selection of Roche wines and taking in the view of the thousands of acres of vineyards planted on the western slopes of the Sonoma Valley.

BR Cohn Winery
Nestled in the Glen Ellen growing region, between the Mayacamas Mountains and Sonoma Mountain in the heart of Sonoma's Wine Valley, BR Cohn Winery produces a variety of wines as well as a fine selection of vinegars and olive oils. Rooted in rock 'n' roll royalty, the winery was founded by Bruce Cohn, longtime manager of legendary band The Doobie Brothers. A guided tasting of several artisanal BR Cohn wines is enhanced by sweeping views of the estate vineyards and stately olive trees. Its Olive Hill Estate vineyard is named for the 160-year-old olive trees on the property.

What you will see along the way:
Gaze out the motorcoach window as you wend your way through the Sonoma Valley and Carneros District with gentle rolling hills and picturesque vineyards in the distance. As you approach the city on your return, take in wide vistas of the city, your ship in port, and the bridges of San Francisco.

Photo Opportunity:
Vista Point is the perfect vantage point to capture images of the famed Golden Gate Bridge. Admired for its magnitude and graceful beauty, it was completed after four years of construction in 1937. Its two towers rise an impressive 746 feet, and weather permitting, you'll delight in sweeping views of San Francisco Bay, the city skyline, Alcatraz, Angel Island and Yerba Buena Island, situated in the San Francisco Bay.

Tasting and Lunch:
Stroll through charming Sonoma Square, a picturesque plaza in the middle of downtown Sonoma, flanked by shops and restaurants, and enjoy lunch on your own. At both wineries, engage in tasting sessions.

Order of tour stops and scenic drive routes may vary to avoid traffic and congestion.

This tour is not available on voyages embarking or disembarking in San Francisco.

Passengers must be 21 to participate in wine tasting. Bring cash or credit cards for additional tasting and purchases.

Specific wineries are subject to change depending on availability. Snacks and a stop for a box lunch are available for purchase; however, there are no meals included in this tour.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing suited to the day's condition. Bring a hat and adequate sun protection.

The stop at Golden Gate Bridge viewing point may be done on the return to the city

You will stop at two wineries for private tour and wine tastings.
