WHAT YOU VISIT

Kauai
Known as the "greenest" of the islands and the most-lush in all of Hawaii, it should come as no surprise that it's aptly named the "Garden Island." Designed for small groups, the all-day tour travels to the 151-foot-tall, 40-foot-wide Opaeka'a Falls and Poliahu Heiau, one of Kauai's most sacred and historic locations. Next, a leisurely boat cruises up the Wailua River, the only navigable river in the State of Hawaii. During the two-mile journey, you'll be serenaded by songs and stories of the old Hawaii. The spacious, open-air boat provides excellent views all the way to the landing, where you'll enjoy a short nature walk through a beautiful rainforest to the lush Fern Grotto. Back on the touring van, you'll travel along the North Shore to the Kilauea Lighthouse and the nearby Kilauea National Wildlife Refuge & Bird Sanctuary.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
No tour would be complete without photo stops at scenic viewpoints. Be sure to have your camera to commemorate the moments when you stop at Fern Grotto; the Kilauea Lighthouse, which overlooks ocean cliffs and the tall grassy slopes of a dormant volcano; and the quaint town of Hanalei.

LUNCH
Anini Beach on the island's North Shore boasts the longest and widest fringing reef in the Hawaiian Islands. Marvel at your surroundings while enjoying an island-style picnic lunch.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
As you return to the pier, you'll travel past the Princeville Resort Area and Hanalei Bay, voted America's best beach in 2009 by Dr. Beach.

Special Notes:

Minimum age is 5 years. Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Guests will be taken to the viewing area where they can take pictures and view the lighthouse but the grounds will be inaccessible.
