WHAT YOU VISIT

Botanical World Adventures
Located just off the picturesque Hamakua coastline, this 300-acre paradise boasts flowers, winding streams, waterfalls, and lush tropical greenery. One of the best ways to soak up its beauty is by bicycle. Once you arrive, you'll hop on your bike, don a helmet and rain jacket and follow your guide through an area of the Hamakua Coast once dominated by Hawaii's sugar industry. This adventurous tour makes its way through a segment of the Old Mamalahoa Highway, a once well-traveled road graced with green rolling pastures and lush botanical scenery. As you make your way through old plantation villages and over century-old bridges you'll be mesmerized by the beautiful streams and waterfalls originating from the slopes of Maunakea.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Following your bike ride, your guide will transport you by van to the Botanical World Adventures' private Jungle Falls for an amazing photo safari.

SNACK
Before departing for Jungle Falls, you can refuel with assorted snacks and bottled water.

SHOPPING
As you make your way back to the pier, you'll stop at Low Store, a family owned treasure since 1925 where you can purchase tropical smoothies and Hawaiian shaved ice. And if you have a sweet tooth, then be sure to buy the signature chocolate dipped macadamia nut shortbread cookies at Big Island Candies.

Special Notes:

Minimum age is 12 years. Participants must be at least 54" tall and comfortable riding a bike. An adult must accompany children under 18 years of age. Tour itinerary may change due to weather. Wear comfortable clothing in layers, sunscreen, and closed-toe shoes (required). Participants are also required to wear the provided helmets while cycling.
