What you will visit:

Local Coffee Mill
Some of the richest, best coffee is produced on the Big Island. Tour a local farm and learn about their production process.

Pana'ewa Zoo and Gardens
Next up, take in the amazing colors and tranquil surroundings at the Pana'ewa Zoo and Gardens. Over 100 varieties of palms, orchids, tropical rhododendrons, flowering and fruit trees as well as birds and animals are on display.

Punalu'u Black Sand Beach
Lined with swaying coconut palm trees, Punalu'u is one of the best black-sand beaches on the island. Stroll along the shoreline and look for honu (green Hawaiian sea turtles) feeding just offshore or sun-worshipping on the sand.

Boiling Pots
Impressive photo opportunities are often found here when the Wailuku River "boils" through depressions in the rocks known as
lava tubes causing a "boiling," Jacuzzi-like effect.

Rainbow Falls
Follow the Wailuku River to Rainbow Falls, an iconic waterfall featuring an 80-foot-tall cascade surrounded by tropical flora. Look for the rainbow effect produced by the spray that gives the waterfall its name.

What you will see along the way:
The landscape of the Big Island ranges from black-sand beaches to tropical rainforests to the alpine terrain of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. At 13,796 feet above sea level, the summit of Mauna Kea is the highest point in the entire Pacific basin.

Photo Opportunities:
Along the way, take a moment to stretch your legs and focus your cameras on either Rainbow Falls, an 80-foot cascade
surrounded by tropical flora, or the neighboring Boiling Pots, where the river rushes through lava tubes.

Lunch:
At the Punalu'u Black Sand Beach you'll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy a deli-style picnic lunch.

Shopping:
Hawaiian macadamia nuts, local crafts and products, Kona coffee and more are found in a local souvenir shop.

Minimum age is 3 years and maximum weight is 275 lbs. This tour is not for passengers with heart, neck or back problems or pregnant women.
