Keamu Cultural Village Tour

Departing from Mystery Island via boat a short 10 mins ferry ride you arrive on the beach on the main island of Aneytium. Upon arrival you'll take a guided 15 min walk to the village of Keamu. Here the village warriors will greet and challenge you. Once accepted by the warriors, you will be allowed to enter the village and addressed by the Chief and the villagers in traditional costumes.

During this fascinating tour you will learn and experience how the Village ancestor's survived and thrived, using traditional way of life skills. You will experience how to prepare and store food supplies and experience traditional hunting and fishing traps, weaving mats, hats, baskets, and many more ancient Vanuatu traditional lifestyle.

This tour provides a unique insight into the traditional system of Village life that has been practiced in Pacific Island for the past two millennia.
