Description

Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.

Your narrated tour begins in Sydney at the pier where you will board your air conditioned motorcoach and drive to Featherdale Wildlife Park. Encounter Australia's unique and precious wildlife in a natural bush setting. You'll get an opportunity to observe a private collection of more than 2,200 mammals, birds and reptiles, with unforgettable experiences, such as hand-feeding a kangaroo, wallaby or emu, and enjoying a face-to-face encounter with a friendly koala. Before we head to Blue Mountains you'll have time to visit the gift shop to find any number of animal-motif souvenirs to remember your trip by.

Reboard your motorcoach drive up to higher elevations through dense eucalyptus forests to the village of Katoomba. At Echo Point, the views are amazing. Here, discover the "Grand Canyon" of giant rock formations, geological history, deep, tree-studded valleys and cascading waterfalls. Enjoy panoramic views of the Jamieson Valley, Mount Solitary and the Ruined Castle.

Don't miss the Three Sisters, a famous rock formation, and the Giant Stairway, located adjacent to the Three Sisters on Prince Henry Cliff Walk, which descends 916 steps into the Jamison Valley. The Three Sisters, like the rest of the Blue Mountains, are made of porous sandstone formed by erosion over time from wind, rain and rivers. The cliffs surrounding the Jamison Valley are all being slowly broken up, and eventually, as nature dictates, the Sisters will be completely eroded away.

Afterwards, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. You'll get to take a ride on the Scenic Cableway, Australia's steepest aerial cable car, crossing high above the Jamison Valley. Enjoy the views of ancient ravines and dazzling waterfalls while suspended 886 feet above.
