WHAT YOU VISIT

Eaglecrest Lodge Alpine Zipline
Upon arrival at the Eaglecrest Ski Area, you'll meet your expert guides, who will equip you with top-of-the-line harnesses and helmets. Then, you'll receive a safety briefing and a general orientation on the course. Experience the thrill of traveling from tree to tree over multiple lines surrounded by spectacular mountain views and over rushing streams. Next, you'll traverse over a suspension bridge while looking down at a salmon spawning stream. No hand-braking is required, so you can enjoy a total hand's-free experience. Next, get your inner lumberjack ready, because you'll have the chance to try your hand at axe-throwing!

Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center
The center provides fascinating information, as well as excellent views of this ever-changing wonder. While there, be sure to watch a brief film about how the Mendenhall is part of the 1,500-square-mile Juneau Icefield.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Each zipline will land you in a tree house platform, where you will have time to capture the best moments and scenery with your camera.

SNACK
Back at the lodge, enjoy a snack while watching a slide show of the pictures taken during your tour.

SHOPPING
Souvenirs are available for purchase in the shop.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Enjoy the alpine meadows and panoramic mountain views as you make your way to the Eaglecrest Ski Area located in a beautiful setting in the Tongass National Forest.

Special Notes:

Participants must be at least 8 years old, 36" tall and weigh between 70 lbs. and 250 lbs. and be comfortable with heights. Not recommended for pregnant women or those prone to seizures or neck, back or shoulder problems. Closed-toed shoes, pants and layered clothing recommended. An observer ticket may be booked onboard for anyone not wishing to participate but accompanying someone who does. Tour order may vary. Tour operator is authorized under special use permit to access the Tongass National Forest. Does not include walking on the glacier. Visit at the glacier is self-guided as your driver is not permitted to conduct tours.

Liability waiver must be signed in the presence of the tour operator.

Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children 16 to 17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate without a parent or guardian.

Medical Restriction:

Guests must be comfortable with heights. Not recommended for pregnant women or those prone to seizures or neck, back or shoulder problems.
