Day One starts with a motor launch transfer ashore to Milford before boarding your coach. Depart Milford Sound village and drive along the swiftly flowing Cleddau River. Ascend to the Homer Tunnel which is 3/4 mile long. Travel over the Homer saddle before entering the Eglinton Valley where beech-covered mountains frame the view of distant peaks. Pass Lakes Fergus and Gunn before arriving at Lake Te Anau where your lunch will be served.

Continue your drive to Kingston before following the eastern shoreline of the Lake Wakatipu Arrive in Queenstown, the famous resort town on Lake Wakatipu which offers stunning views of the Remarkable Ranges and the Southern Alps and check into your hotel.

In the evening you will transfer the short distance from the hotel to the Steamer Wharf to board the TSS Earnslaw for your 40 minute cruise. Depart Queenstown aboard this vintage coal-fired steamship, known as the "Lady of the Lake," across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak Station. No stay in Queenstown is complete without a visit to Walter Peak High Country Farm, the site of the original homestead of one of New Zealand's most famous sheep and cattle stations. Soak up the atmosphere of the established gardens and the magnificent setting of Beach Bay. There will be a chance to see sheep dogs in action and the opportunity to view the sheep and the Scottish Highland cattle at close quarters. Enjoy a Gourmet BBQ dinner at the Colonel's Homestead Restaurant.

After dinner, re-join the Earnslaw for the cruise back to Queenstown where, on arrival, you will transfer back to the hotel for your evening's stay.

Day Two begins with a hearty breakfast. After checking out, enjoy some free time to explore Queenstown. Depart Queenstown and drive a short distance to the historic and charming village of Arrowtown passing many of its gold rush-era buildings.

Travel into the Kawarau Gorge where a stop will be made at the historic Kawarau Suspension Bridge where commercial Bungy-jumping began. The sport of Bungy-jumping has now spread to all parts of the world and jumpers from many countries can be seen here enjoying the thrills. During your stop here, witness a demonstration of this daredevil sport (subject to operation).

Travel to the settlement of Cromwell which was relocated to make way for Lake Dunstan, which was formed by the construction of the Clyde Dam. Travel through Central Otago to the township of Alexandra. After lunch, continue into a valley, which was formed by the construction of the Roxburgh Hydro Dam, cross the Clutha River and travel by way of Beaumont and Lawrence located in historical gold-mining country. Pass Clarkesville Junction, Lake Waihola before continuing through the pastoral countryside south of Dunedin.

Arrive in Dunedin where you will enjoy a brief sightseeing tour which will allow you to see the main highlights of the city including the Railway Station, the Octagon, the Town Hall and the University of Otago. Travel along the shore of the Otago Harbour and through the village of Port Chalmers, before re-joining your Princess ship.
