Barossa Valley
South Australia's best-known wine region is home to many of Australia's major producers. Explore the valley on a scenic drive and with visits and wine tastings at two wineries. Settled by German immigrants in 1842, the German language, culture and cuisine have been preserved in the area.
The Company Kitchen at the South Australian Company Store
Located in the town of Angaston, one of South Australia's oldest towns, the eclectic restaurant boasts vineyard views and genuine Aussie cuisine and hospitality. Here, you can treat your taste buds to some of the region's most delightful produce as you sample gourmet items such as cheese, dried fruit, crusty bread, olive balsamic and chutney paired with matching wines.

The Barossa Valley is dotted with gently rolling hills, picturesque little villages and vineyards-this full-day outing will provide camera buffs with one jaw-dropping photo opportunity after another.
LUNCH
Feast on lunch at The Company Kitchen that includes Schulz butcher bratwurst (gluten free), a traditional German pork sausage served with Zimmy's sauerkraut; kangaroo and shiraz pie; beer battered barramundi; The Company Kitchen's salt and pepper squid; creamy roast vegetable risotto (gluten free) or slow roasted lamb shank. Wine, tea/coffee also included (menus are subject to change and seasonality).
