The markets are a haven for foodies and professionals who seek out the freshest produce and ingredients for their culinary creations.
Culinary Experience at Botrinis Etrusco Restaurant
The renowned Michelin-starred restaurant Etrusco offers a truly personal, gourmet experience. Ettore Botrini, the host of Greeces 'Hells Kitchen' television show, is one of the top and most famous celebrity chefs in the country. A Corfiot Italian from an impressive gastronomic lineage, Botrini has worked internationally, including at several Michelin-starred restaurants in Monaco, as well as serving as head chef of his familys award-winning Etrusco Restaurant in Corfu. Additionally, this talented chef runs his own Michelin-star restaurant in Athens.
What you will see along the way:
On your motorcoach drive, youll have an opportunity to gaze upon the Old Fortress. During the period of the 6th through 13th centuries A.D., Corfu stood within the fortifications of the Old Fortress. Built by the Byzantines, it was reinforced by the Venetians and later by the British. Although much has been destroyed, the Venetian insignia remains, as do the lower ramparts and a steel bridge that connects the fortress to the city.
