Get to know beautiful Montenegro with a delightful sight-seeing cruise on the Adriatic Sea, before enjoying a walking tour around historic Perast.

Your unique, and highly active adventure starts at Kotor pier for the hour-long cruise along the deep blue waters of Boka Bay, which is surrounded by dramatic high cliffs.

Once your boat has moored at the charming Our Lady of the Rocks Island, your guide will escort you to the pretty 'Gospa od Skrpjela' Baroque Church. Legend has it that seaman who swore an ancient oath created the island, and that after each voyage, returning sailors would lay a rock in the bay until the islet emerged from the sea.

This wonderful church contains 68 magnificent paintings by Tripo Kokolja, a famous 17th century artist from nearby Perast. His most famous painting, the 'Death of the Virgin', is housed here, and measures some 33 feet in length.

After you have toured the church, you will climb back onto the boat for the short cruise to Perast, which is arguably the best-preserved Baroque city in Montenegro. It flourished during the 18th century when it had four busy shipyards, and a fleet of one hundred ships. The old city, including the Bujovic Palace, boasts nine defensive towers which were built by the Venetian navy in the 15th and 16th centuries.

You will have time to stroll the town's narrow streets to view the beautiful Baroque manor houses, many of which are now listed, and were built by Perast's merchant captains. Your guide will then accompany you to the picturesque 15th century cathedral, before visiting the small Bujovic Maritime Museum, which is home to a collection of naval uniforms, weapons, and paintings.

After you've had time to soak up more of this glorious town, your motor launch will take you back to Kotor.
