WHAT YOU VISIT
Lovcen National Park
Stretching out over 23 forested miles, the park is dominated by Mount Lovcen. Overlooking Kotor, the mountain boasts two imposing peaks, the 5,738-foot-tall Stirovnik and the 5,436-foot-tall Jezerski vrh. An invigorating guided hike begins at the base and travels through verdant meadows and along rocky paths. As you make your way along well-worn trails, you'll have grand vistas of the Bay of Kotor and some spectacular 360-degree views of the Montenegrin coast.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Lovcen National Park is an important reserve for many of Montenegro's native bird species; have your camera ready, you may see falcons and eagles soaring overhead.

SNACKS
With the great outdoors as your dining room, you'll be treated to a picnic of cold cuts, salads, cookies and fruit.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
From Kotor, you'll travel along a scenic and pretty steep road to the base of Loven National Park. The nearly five-long-long road features 16 hairpin turns and rises over 1,380 feet offering jaw-dropping views over Kotor.

Special Notes:

Wear proper footwear and clothing. The hike involves gravel, dirt and inclines. Bring sunblock, head cover, sunglasses, water. Guests with difficult walking should not join the tour.
