WHAT YOU VISIT
Delos
According to Greek mythology, Delos is the birthplace of Apollo, and people came from around the world to this ancient site to pay homage to the God of music, beauty and light. In the early 19th century, a dramatic excavation uncovered beautiful artifacts, mosaics, statues and buildings. Using the virtual reality tablet and headset, these ancient ruins are resurrected. Just point the tablet's camera at various locations and view them as they looked thousands of years ago! Watch them "rise from the ruins" as you walk from one breathtaking site to the next. Explore the Sanctuary of Apollo complex, the area of the Sacred Lake (which dried up in 1926), the Terrace of Lions, the sanctuaries on Cynthus, the theater district, and the commercial harbor district.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Everywhere you point your camera is a shot worthy of National Geographic. So snap, post and let the world see this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
After boarding a local ferry from the tender pier in Mykonos, you'll cross the azure waters of the Aegean to the tiny isle of Delos, nestled between Mykonos and Rhineia.
