WHAT YOU VISIT
Caldera by Catamaran
Ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends, a cruise across the half-moon-shaped bay in your own private catamaran is the ultimate in get-away luxury. After transferring to shore via tender, you'll drive to the area of Vlychada where your catamaran awaits. Once aboard, silence your devices and get ready to set out on a course of fun and relaxation. Bring your swimsuit; in addition to sailing along the coast, the captain will drop anchor so you can dive into the active volcano's sulphuric waters.

Fira
Your adventure ends with free time at Fira, the island's capital. When you're ready to return, you can walk to the upper portion of town and meet the aerial cable car for the ride back to port.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
The stunning white-washed villages perched atop Santorini's reddish cliffs create picture-perfect photos. Just when you think your camera couldn't hold any more photos, the captain will sail past the 125-year-old Akrotiri Lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in Greece.

SHOPPING
With free time in Fira, you can shop for that perfect souvenir in the capital's gift shops, jewelry stores and large shopping center.

SNACK
When hunger strikes while strolling through Fira, you can stop for fresh local fare and a glass of chilled ouzo, a clear aperitif flavored with anise.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Be prepared to ooh and aah as the captain cruises past the famous caldera. Measuring seven-and-a-half-miles by four miles, the three-sided caldera boasts steep cliffs that reach 980 feet. Eruptions during the 16th and 17th centuries gave rise to the creation of Palea Kameni and Nea Kameni islands, which sit in the center of the caldera.
