Alaskan Culinary Demonstration
Learn to prepare wild, natural and sustainable Alaska seafood in a hands-on tasting session hosted by wilderness chef Dodie Lunda. Living on a floathouse for 23 years in remote Alaska made her a creative and accomplished cook. Discover what sets Alaskan seafood apart for all others, about the local fishing industry and special cooking techniques. Watch a filleting demonstration, and learn how to handle an alder-wood grill. Recipe cards are included so guests can re-create the experience at home.

What You See Along The Way:
As you walk to your culinary experience, take in views of Icy Strait Point and the Alaska wilderness, enjoying the forests, valleys, ocean vistas and stunning mountainous scenery.

Snacks:
Watch and learn as the catch of the day is filleted, then get hands-on as you prepare and cook the fresh Alaska seafood with the guidance of your culinary host. The tasting menu includes seafood harvested from local waters and may include salmon and halibut. Vegetables and seasonal herbs are used in the preparation of the delectable snacks. Beverages include wine spritzer, coffee, tea and water.
