Join an experienced naturalist and a small group of travelers on this fascinating walking tour! Explore the splendid flora and fauna found on the northern side of the Alaska Range. Your naturalist will inform you about the pristine taiga and tundra ecosystems which extend from the subarctic alpine tundra to the Nenana River. As you come to understand these remarkable natural zones and the powerful forces that shape them, learn about the hundreds of species of wildflowers, migratory birds and animals that inhabit the region. Special Notes:

Maximum age is 80 years. Maximum weight is 300 lbs. Must be physically able to walk and stand on moderate terrain. Guests with back, neck, heart or mobility problems are not allowed to participate. Wear outdoor clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Trekking poles and extra rain gear provided. Tour operates rain or shine. Walking portion of tour is approximately 3 hours.
