Depart Ketchikan's dynamic working waterfront for a south bound cruise featuring Creek Street and the largest collection of standing totem poles in the world at Saxman Native Village. Enjoy the fresh Alaska air while sipping complimentary coffee or cocoa on open observation decks or kick back inside the comfortable enclosed cabin while you cruise through beautiful passages in search of wildlife. Whales, seals, porpoise, bald eagles and other species are often sighted here. A naturalist and skilled captain share their knowledge of the area and the wildlife habitats and patterns of movement and will ensure the best possible photographic opportunities. Enjoy a taste of Alaska made treats in the galley gift shop with the option to purchase smoked salmon, devil's club tea, pickled bull kelp, salmon jerky, and more.

Along the way, view Saxman Native Village and Totem Row – the world's largest collection of standing totem poles – flanked by eagles' nests, Creek Street, and Ketchikan's dynamic working waterfront.

Photo Opportunities:
Your captain will expertly seek out the best opportunities to photograph wildlife in the area. On your return route to Ketchikan, the boat travels through Tongass Narrows. You'll want to capture pictures of the historic waterfront sights.
