Fairview Great House and Botanical Garden
Situated on 3.5 acres, this early 18th-century estate gives you a sense of life in a more genteel era. Once the residence of a French military commander, it was then home to a series of notable families including the great-grandfather of British novelist Virginia Woolf. Today, this stately colonial home welcomes guests to step back in time and explore the restored manor rooms and two acre blooming botanical garden with an apiary, a cobblestone central courtyard, and a small, private chapel.

Carambola Beach Club
Set against the mountains of the Southeast Peninsula and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, Carambola is a picture-perfect beach with a wide stretch of sand and swaying palms. Bask in the gentle breeze, build sand castles or watch the action from a lounge chair. A shoreside bar sells fruity cocktails and snacks (at your own expense). Restrooms and shower facilities are available for your convenience.


What you will see along the way:
Delight in a drive through Basseterre, founded in 1627 by the French. Its colonial past is evident in the city's many restored Victorian and Georgian gingerbread buildings. Some of the landmarks you may travel past include Independence Square, St. George's Anglican Church, the Berkeley Memorial, and the Queen Victoria Statue Roundabout.

Photo Opportunity:
As part of your scenic motorcoach drive, you will climb to the top of Timothy Hill. Pause to photograph the absolutely breathtaking scenery of foaming crests atop Atlantic Ocean waves to the east and the tranquil Caribbean Sea to the west.
