WHAT YOU VISIT
- Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park
Enjoy a self-guided tour of this majestic fortress, also known as "The Gibraltar of the West Indies." Recognized by UNESCO as an "outstanding, well-preserved example of 17th and 18th century military architecture," the fort is a monument to the ingenuity of the British military engineers who designed it and to the skill, strength and endurance of the African slaves who built and maintained it.

- Caribelle Batik
A visit inside the studios offers a look at how Caribelle's signature fabrics are created. Watch artisans hand-print fabrics by the 2,500-year-old Indonesian wax-and-dye process known as batik.

- Romney Manor
Take a leisurely walk among the ruins, petroglyphs, botanical gardens and rainforest of this former sugar plantation once owned by Sam Jefferson II, an ancestor of U.S. President Thomas Jefferson.

Commanding an 800-foot-high plateau, the Brimstone Hill Fortress offers sweeping views of forested mountains, cultivated fields, the historical township of Sandy Point, and the neighboring Dutch, English and French islands across the Caribbean Sea.
