WHAT YOU VISIT

Rockland Estate Eco-Park
Built in the 1700s, the plantation house is the former home of slave Trace Wilson and his descendant Emilio Wilson who purchased the property to educate current and future generations about the conditions of plantation life as well as the customs, traditions and history of St. Maarten. Today, it's the site of thrilling rides like the Sky Explorer, a four passenger chairlift that transports riders to an upper deck that encircles the mountaintop, one of St. Maarten's highest points at 1,115 feet. Head back down the mountain via The Flying Dutchman. Latch on and fly down the world's steepest zip line at speeds of up to 56 miles-per-hour, dropping 1,050 feet over a distance of 2,630 feet!

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Once at the top of Sentry Hill, step out onto the platforms and behold spectacular 360-degree views of St. Maarten including the neighboring islands of Saba, St. Eustatius and St. Barts and Anguilla.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
The approximate 25-minute ride up the 1,125-foot-tall Sentry Hill aboard the Sky Explorer offers sky-high views of St. Maarten.

Lunch and photos will be at your own expense. Minimum height allowed is 52 inches, maximum height allowed is 72 inches. Minimum weight allowed is 100 lbs and maximum weight allowed is 275 lbs. This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, people with heart problems, neck and back injuries. Closed toe shoes are required.
