WHAT YOU VISIT
Mayan Cenote Sanctuary
Swim, walk and paddle your way through this intriguing expedition. A ferry ride and tour bus bring you to the "Original Mayan Water Trail," home of four unique cenotes, or sinkholes. Not only will you visit each cenote but you can take a dip in the inviting waters, once believed to hold the spirit of Chaak, the Mayan rain god. The first cenote you'll encounter is named "La Cueva" due to its spectacular natural arch. Hop back onto the path to "Cenote Kay," one of the few cenotes with stalactites. Your third hop takes you to the amazing "Gran Cenote Azul, " named for its clear blue water color, and cool temperature. Hop on to your final stroll to the fourth cenote named "Cenote Naval," which measures 1,640 feet in diameter.

Traverse the phenomenal "Cenote Naval," in your own canoe, surrounded by exotic flora and fauna.

LUNCH
Enjoy a typical Mayan meal complete with traditional handmade tortillas, chicken pibil and poc-chuc pork with a variety of side dishes including salsas and guacamole, as well as unlimited flavored waters and coffee.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
A drive through city streets past hotels and resorts leads to a quiet countryside surrounded by trees and hanging vines.

Special Notes:

Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, hat, and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind of sunscreen is allowed in the water). To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up.

Medical Restriction:

Guests must be able to walk over rocky, uneven terrain.
