Dolphin Discovery
Dolphin Discovery Cozumel is located inside Chankanaab National Park, a picturesque conservation area surrounded by tropical flora and fauna with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. Home to the only certified Dolphin Park on the island, it is accredited by the U.S.-based Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks & Aquariums, and all its dolphin, manatee and sea lion encounters are supervised by certified trainers. The extensive grounds also contain an archaeological replica area and Mayan village showcasing Mexican culture, as well as Chankanaab Lagoon that teems with tropical fish, Tequila Village, colorful botanical gardens, a swimming pool, retail shops and dining establishments. Enjoy a delicious Mexican and international buffet with unlimited domestic drinks.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY:
You'll get a quick look at scenic Cozumel on the three-mile drive to Chankanaab National Park from port. Upon arrival, walk past sparkling fountains and a waterfall to reach the golden beach and Dolphin Discovery zone.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES:
Please note that cameras are not allowed in the water for the safety of the dolphins; professional photographers are on hand to take digital photos, which you may purchase after your experience.

SHOPPING:

Dolphin Discovery's large retail facility brims with marine related souvenirs and dolphin inspired apparel and merchandise around every corner. At the Photo Shop, purchase photo memories which can be downloaded to mobile device.

LUNCH:
Enjoy a delicious Mexican and international buffet with unlimited domestic drinks.

Special Notes:

Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, hat, and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind of sunscreen is allowed in the water). To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. All participants must wear a life vest while in the water with the dolphin. Jewelry may not be worn during the dolphin encounter. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. The minimum height required is 42 inches. Guests 12 years of age and under with a height 55 inches and under must be accompanied by a paying adult or legal guardian. Guests 13 years and older with a height greater than 56 inches can enter the water without any accompaniment. Observers are allowed at a reduced fee. Please check with the tour office onboard for details. Participation is very limited. Women who are pregnant may not participate on this tour. Time in the water with the dolphins is approximately 40 minutes. Bring money for incidentals you may wish to purchase at the park. Manatee interaction lasts about 10 minutes. Sea lion show lasts about 20 minutes. No cameras of any kind are permitted in the water. Camera and video equipment is not allowed for the observers at the dock/platform area. Photos of your dolphin program will be available for viewing and purchase after your experience. The photo service at the venue is not affiliated with or provided by the cruise line. Any photos purchased from this service will be the passengers' responsibility.
