What you will visit:
Auckland Jet Boat Adventure
Picture yourself flying across the water in a powerful jet boat sporting the latest in Hamilton technology (Sir Arthur Hamilton invented the jet boat in New Zealand in 1954) on a hair-raising tour of Auckland's breathtaking Waitemata Harbour. Powered by twin 300HP Volvo turbocharged jet engines, your sleek, brightly colored vessel is purposely built for sea conditions and speeds up to 50 knots. Your experienced skipper will wow you with expertly executed fish tails, spins, turns, and power brake tricks while taking in the city's many local landmarks and highlights.
Notes: The vessel accommodates guests in grandstand-style seating. The layout ensures that every passenger enjoys a great view of the impressive Auckland skyline. You may get wet; however, sunglasses are provided for the trip.
What you will see along the way:
Sailing is a passion for many in New Zealand, and Auckland is one of the only cities in the world to have harbors on two separate bodies of water. It is nicknamed the "City of Sails" because of the hundreds of colorful yachts that dot the landscape. When you cruise under the Auckland Harbour Bridge, gaze up as you pass under the Bungee Pod; you might witness a fellow adrenaline junkie making the leap of a lifetime. You'll also enjoy vistas of Auckland's cityscape and Sky Tower.
Special Notes:
You may get wet, sunglasses are provided for the trip. Belongings are stored in a lockable unit.Details
