Upper Reach Winery
Get a feeling for the people, the place and the processes that create fabulous wines as you step inside the cellar door at your first winery. Set in the most beautiful spot on the upper reaches of the Swan River, this winery has won many awards for its wines and cellar door.

Sandalford Caversham Estate
Located on the original property on the banks of the Swan River, the distinguished Sandalford Caversham Estate, founded in 1840, is one of Western Australia's largest and oldest producers of premium wine. This sustainable winery produces a wide range of award-winning wines under a variety of labels in its rustic, rammed-earth cellar. With its two fertile vineyards and advanced viticultural practices, the progressive winemaking team at Sandalford Caversham Estate welcomes guests to experience its exceptional wines and historic winemaking techniques and tools and to stroll the magnificent surroundings.

What you will see along the way:

The Swan Valley is Western Australia's oldest wine region. Boasting over 40 wineries, it is just 30 minutes from Perth. Under cloudless blue skies and warm sun, the grape varietals flourish, and the fertile land produces green and lush vineyards, an endless bounty. A scenic drive down the winding roads and along the sparkling Swan River is a feast for the eyes and introduces this historic valley with its quiet, country charms.

Tastings:
Both estates open their cellar door for guided tastings led by the winemakers, who share their unique experiences and life in the vineyards.

Shopping:
Wine-related mementos and souvenirs, from glassware to bottle openers and other specialty items, can be found in the winery gift shops, which also offer a full range of wines available for sale.

Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair. Minimum age to consume alcohol is 18 years. Tour does not operate on holidays.
