Your journey begins at the pier where you'll board a motorcoach on a narrated drive through historic downtown Skagway en route to your first stop.
At the Red Onion Saloon, splendidly costumed madams greet you with a souvenir garter and a gold miner's breakfast of eggs scrambled with onions, peppers and cheese along with sausage links, butter croissant and sesonal fruit. Delight in provocative tales of Klondike Kate, Diamond Tooth Lil and other enterprising women who worked the Red Onion in 1898. The madams share hilarious stories of the saloon's more recent, but no less intoxicating history, as they serve you a Red Light Bloody Mary, Klondike Koffee, Mimosa or cocktail of your choice. Step upstairs to the celebrated brothel museum and explore the hallway, bedrooms and priceless artifacts left behind by the "soiled doves" of yesteryear. Enjoy your private visit of this historic site and have your photo taken with one of the madams before this bustling bar opens to the public.
Next, continue on your motorcoach through the charming downtown streets to the Skagway Museum to view their collection of fascinating and unusual artifacts, hard evidence of the stories you'll see and hear on your tour.
Then journey to the Gold Rush Cemetery to witness the final resting place of some of the more colorful characters of the Klondike Gold Rush.
Finally, visit The Lookout, a photographer's delight offering a panoramic view of the Skagway Valley, glacier-clad mountains, Lynn Canal and your cruise ship.
