Here's a historical tour you can really sink your teeth into! Not only will you see some of the most iconic sights in Victoria but you'll also be able to enjoy a cup of coffee and a sweet treat at Tim Hortons, one of Canada's culinary landmarks. Your two-hour city tour also includes a drive up to picturesque Mount Tolmie so be sure to bring along your camera. A Canadian trivia quiz to entertain you along the way (with prizes, of course) ensure loads of variety.

The fun begins as you board your air-conditioned coach and proceed through Victoria, western Canada's oldest city. Have your cameras ready as you slowly wind your way to the top of Mount Tolmie. Once you disembark you can stretch your legs and marvel over the 360-degree view of Victoria. Behind you sits a viewing platform hat offers sweeping views of the Saanich area, noteworthy for its glacially scoured rock outcroppings. On a clear day you can spot Mount Baker far off in the distance in the United States.

Photos taken, you'll climb back aboard and descend the mountain, passing the revered 150-year-old University of Victoria.

By now you may have worked up an appetite so your next stop will be the famous Tim Hortons. Founded in 1964, the popular chain boasts 3,665 restaurants across Canada. Step inside this honored institution and you'll notice that there's no Tres Rio Costa Rica Belle Vista grande, no fat, thick foam, wet cap featured on the menu - Tim Hortons has been crafting its own brew for over 50 years. Did you know that there's a special way to order? At Tim Hortons, you're supposed to order a "double-double," which is coffee with two creams and two sugars. To accompany your beverage, you'll receive four of the most popular Timbit flavors (bite-size doughnuts).

Once you finish your delectable treat, you'll rejoin your coach and head to Victoria proper. Travel past the quaint shops, narrow alleys and colorful signs of the country's oldest Chinatown. Here sits the infamous Fan Tan Alley, which is the narrowest street in Canada and once the site of gaming houses and opium factories.

Next, you'll drive through the stately downtown area, where the Parliament Buildings dramatically line the harbor. Nearby sits the impressive Empress Hotel, one of the oldest and most famous hotels in Victoria and a National Historic Site. The Edwardian, château-style hotel opened in 1908 and through its illustrious history has hosted kings and queens and Hollywood royalty. You'll pass the 135-year-old Beacon Hill Park; at 200-acres, it's one of the largest parks on southern Vancouver Island.

Special Notes:

Due to road construction in 2022, a drive past Chinatown may not be possible. Tour order may vary. The viewing platform at Mount Tolmie is accessed by a walk up a hill. Guests may stay in the bus if they don't wish to make this walk.
