Relax and enjoy the view of 17-Mile Drive: one of the most scenic drives in the world. This coastal landmark runs from Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach, showcasing Monterey's natural rocky coastline with unobstructed views of the Pacific as the wildlife of the peninsula and the famed Monterey cypress trees complete a pretty picture.

Bird Rock
At Bird Rock, some of the most famous stops along 17-Mile Drive, it's often hard to see the rock itself, as there are so many occupants clamoring for space. Breathe in the magnificent coastal views and the abundant wildlife as pelicans and cormorants jockey for space. You may hear seals and sea lions barking in the distance, and sea otters peek their heads above water as they nestle in the floating kelp forests.
Lone Cypress
The Lone Cypress sits on a prominent rocky outcrop framed by the Pacific Ocean. Not only is it one of the most picturesque icons of the Monterey Peninsula, but it is also the symbol of the Pebble Beach Golf Club.

Pebble Beach Golf Club
One of the most stunning golf courses in America, Pebble Beach has a tale for each storied hole. Since 1919, the biggest names in golf have teed up on its emerald links, and over the years it has been the site of many prestigious tournaments. Designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, the course hugs California's rugged coastline, providing wide-open vistas, cliff-side fairways and sloping greens.
