Montecito has long been one of the favorite retreats of Hollywood stars and now it's your turn to experience its glamorous lifestyle. Its magnificent private estates, beautiful landscaping, luxury shopping and casual star sightings vie with the natural beauty of its shimmering coastline. This fabulous half-day sightseeing tour makes it easy to soak up the razzle-dazzle of one of the wealthiest communities in America.

You'll meet your driver and guide at the pier to begin your half-day adventure. Take in the passing scenery on the drive that spotlights some of the top attractions of Santa Barbara while immersing you in Montecito, Santa Barbara's sister city. Drive by Stearn's Wharf, Santa Barbara's most visited attraction. It's the oldest working wharf in California and legend has it Salt Water Taffy was invented by John Stearn's wife! See the locals enjoying the views of the Pacific Ocean, watching local fishing boats off-load their morning catches, touching marine life in a special aquarium, and delighting in the shops, eateries, and premier wineries.

Next, enjoy the picturesque drive down the coast passing the estate of the late Hugghette Clark which is located on top of a hill. Daughter of a US congressman and oil tycoon she had many residences. She kept this 23 acre, 80 million dollar estate fully staffed (at a cost of $40,000 a month!) and yet it sat vacant for over 60 years. Known to be extremely reclusive, her story in an exceedingly interesting one and her home here in Montecito is set to become a museum in 2016.

Continue the drive along Coast Village road, known as a mini Rodeo Drive! You'll pass by the famous Montecito Inn, built by Hollywood royalty, Charlie Chaplin and Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle. This hotel served as a retreat to the founders as well as a long A-list of cinematic stars. See Our Lady of Mount Carmel church. This gorgeous church site was once considered for the location of the famous Santa Barbara Mission, because Padre Sierra found it to be so lush and plentiful. The ultimate site for the mission was chosen for its proximity to the Presidio and the town.

But landmarks aren't the only thing you are here for! After your fully narrated driving tour, you'll have an hour to explore the upscale boutiques and cafes, often frequented by many of the local celebrities. Make sure you have your camera handy; you might just catch a glimpse of your favorite celebrity before your return drive to Santa Barbara and your ship.
